Utopia is the creator of illusion. Powered by the expectation that there is always a reality better than our own. The delusion that this alternate world actually exists. Born at the same time is a dystopia, a place of suffering and dehumanisation, at the peak of society’s collapse. Where one world ends the other must begin.

The alternate reality of ‘Illusory’ is one in which humans are identical to one another. A society built from perfectionism and comparison, creating a collective dissociation. ‘Illusory’ discovers the coexistence of utopia and dystopia, exploring whether the impossible is achievable.
